    2012 RXT X 260 aS - difference between RS model and non-RS?

As the title says '2012 RXT X 260 aS - difference between RS model and non-RS?´

Is there such a thing as a non RS model or are they all RS anyway?

Also, when adjusting the spring pre-tensioner under the seat, I cannot find a 1/2 socket that will fit through the hole on the plate. How have you guys managed?

I think the R S models are the skis that aren't sold in the USA.

Slightly different tune I believe. RS skis are sold in countries where the emission regulations are more relaxed.

We get the RS in Australia ... They have a slightly different ECU program allowing them to hit 70 mph +...

This is correct, either North America or International (RS). Just look how the OEM parts are listed for each year and model.

I picked up a 2011 rxt 260 R S in south Carolina but the guy had lived in Puerto Rico and had moved to south Carolina and brought it with him.

The seadoo dealership just did some work on it because it had a service bulletin.. the guys at the dealership said it was there 1 st R S they had worked on..

I use a 1/2 wobble extension that 3" long and I turn it with a 1/2 sliding tee handle. No ratchet, I silver sharpied all the weights per click next to the hole. If your wondering its 60 deg per click or 6 per revolution.
