going backwards thread.... but happy.
How to make a short story long. Hummmmmm
Hi, im a newb and I guess this is my first post.
No clue where to post my question so I thought I'd give you guys a crack at it.
I swapped my modded raider 1100 engine into a 01 gp1200r hull. Its a fully ported and billet headed engine. Carbon reeds, riva intake, 44 worked over carbs, ocean pro f/a, wiseco 81mm pistons, 150 psi domes, riva cdi, rear exit exhaust and some whatnots im forgetting. With pig rich settings on carbs im pushing 62mph on the dream meter and the gps.. I mean pig rich because every time I pull a plug its black and wet. Even after a full 2 minute pull and a chop. They will come out wet. But I got that taken care off, thats not the question.
What prop do you guys recommend for this engine hull combo?
I still have the stock gpr prop installed.
On the raider with a 13/19 and on glass I got to 73mph. Should I go the same here or step up to a 14/20?
Has anyone on here done or heard of someone whos done this swap?

I would suggest our 13/20 Set-Back if you're looking for good acceleration or our 14/21 Set-Back if you're looking for top speed primarily. Be sure to test with an aftermarket tachometer and keep an eye your plugs.

I'd try a solas concord 13/19 in there first. With the Riva CDI your rev limit is higher than stock, so I would see where the rpms land with that. With a 66V in a GPR, a 13/19 will usually get you to around 68mph
