    XXX charger race setup

I want to run a different class next year in closed course. Planning on upgrading supercharger and everything needed to do so. Was wondering what is a good setup with a Riva XXX charger keeping it simple and as reliable as possible.

    Thanks

Be prepared to check after ever race and rebuild every 10-20 hours ...

I ran XXX for a full season and its high maintenance , all the big SC on the CC track don't last ...

What about on a Rec SKI...how long before Check and Rebuild? Curious what kind of boost where you seeing on your XXX Charger. I'm seeing 14ish(PSI) at about 8600rpm, 78mph, 82F (air/Water)(salt water) on my first really decent high speed pass the other day.

IMO 8.4:1 is way to low for racing
with just a 9.5:1 you will make more HP off boost and on boost
I have run 11:1 with boost but its not pump fuel friendly
    my et 70-145 I am 15-16 @ 86-8700

I would do the bearings every 20 hrs
and check every 5 hours ...

I had a rear pod and short solid IC pipes inc RIVA water box and saw 15.5-16 at 8600 and an 83.6 mph on a 07 RXP ...

That makes me feel I"m going so slow....lol.

I assume you mean every 20hrs. When you talk of hours do you mean hours of hard use...like on 70% plus boost or just run time.

Impressive to know it can make that much boost. I figured I was down about 1lb or so of boost. Could be several factors, longer more bent pipes to the IC, Crazy routing of air intake plumbing to front of ski, high humidty content etc, air temp etc. Lot's of possible factors I suppose. I'll get there.

Yeah every 20 hrs ... I was seeing high 14s at first .. But after changing to rear air pod and short solid ic pipes with the Riva water box it was hitting high 15 s to 16 ...

All pends on out side temps etc
