Welcome to green hulk. Look through some album or gallery photos. That might help out

    found a good pic

as i expected there is a seal or something missing...

if standing on starboard side looking down on engine, opposite fuel rail, to the right of the far left spark plug, looks like a silver dollar sized rubber seal/plug is missing on top of head

    thanks again

Thats fine, im missing a few of those as well. No need to worry about it. Was it a fresh or salt water ski?

    fresh water ski

we stopped at a Yamy dealer on our way up north
owner looked up the part $42 (did not have 1 in stock)

my girl noticed a few packages of round , plastic discs on the wall & asked to see 1

i took it out to the parking lot & the $1.98 part fit perfect (bought 2 more for spares)

we spent the next 2 days riding in shorts/tshirt simply enjoyin this machine

    starts perfect,runs like a dream

    Nancy likes 35-40 mph
i did a few short blasts to 64mph

been riding motorcycles & sleds for over 40 years but this is a joy (should have got 1 years ago)

got to put it away soon but we are really looking forward to next year!Click image for larger version.

Glad you like the ski, i think you might have it on kph instead of mph. Vx that age will probably be around 45-50mph. Do your storage prcedure and disconnect the batt an shell be ready to ride next year

the button on the dash allows either mph or kph - i leave it on mph

the other button allows for battery volts or hours - i leave it on battery volts

no kidding , every inch of this machine, both outer shell, seat etc & the inside , engine, is like brand new

when Nancy & i went to purchase & the seat was lifted off , i had to keep my mouth shut & when the guy went into the house for something i told Nanc, look at the engine , this ski is brand new -its sold !

64 mph feels like 84 but only because it is a new experience - had a Baja with a 140 eggbeater years ago that did 62mph

for a 1st pwc this is a great start

built 1/4 mile drag cars thru high school & have owned various high speed motorcycles during 41 years of riding so i'm no stranger to speed

will be winterizin both my hotrod chopper from Tenn & the ski , next week-end

dang - i hate winter lol
