    Vx cruiser top speed

What kind of speed can I expect to see out of a stock 2013 vx cruiser?

The 110? Not as much as you would like....go for the vxs or vxr instead...if u can ...same ski but with 1812cc

id say no faster then 55 out of the box. Ribbon delete, intake filter, free flow exhaust, and impeller repitch will net a few (1-3 maybe) more mph, but will mostly effect the lower and mid range speed and acceleration. Its not a huge speed demon, but its a great lake or light chop ski for the family and easy on the fuel. One hell of a wave jumper too!!

if you are looking at this ski then i would think it is for family or rec use, not for speed . i wouldn't even bother with mods. rental companies use these skis for hundreds of hours without modding them and as long as you do scheduled maint. it will last along time. and still utilize 87 octane just gas-n-go !!!

^ Very true, but there is nothing wrong with being more efficient. I have done these mods (except just a drop in R=D air filter to stock box)to all of my rental skis and they are tip top running 53+. Not a lame 41 mph rental vx like most others down here : )

I think Yamaha made these skis pretty efficient in stock form but that's cool you do the little extra for your customers so they get a little peppier ride.....good job

hahahaha WOT that made me laugh out loud

And thank you 1200 stx-r , that little bit extra, is what I think makes those people come back to us on their next trip. Our reviews on trip advisor have actually made quite a difference with the type of people that seek us out. We have had multiple groups of people drive 100+ miles to come out on tour and ride specifically with us. From Miami, to Lauderdale, Ft Meyers, and even a group of people from Ontario... http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractio...y_Florida.html

Anywho, sorry for the derail. Carry on with the vx talk

Hit 61 mph on our 2013 vx cruiser this past weekend, at least that's what the speedometer read. That was with my wife on it as well.
