Hello and thank you for reading this I'm having a bit of trouble with my xl 1200 ltd 1999. I was having trouble with a coupler shaft the shaft rust and ripped a chunk out of it I sourced a new shaft fitted it after sliding engine forwads a place to ski back together with the new intermediate shaft I slipped the pump unit into postion and the unit did not sit flush it was around 5 mill too long i have placed everything back in line I was briefly tapping a drive shaft on the end of the prop I wonder if this moved back causing the pump not to sit flush any idea what's wrong
