    Spark ECU Question

So, I'm just curious. $5000 for 60hp and $7000 for 90hp and the only difference between these two is the ecu being re flashed at the factory. Seems like 2000 for 30hp is a bit steep, am I missing something? Why cant the ecu be reprogrammed after by a third party?

If this is true I'm sure there is some markup added to cover higher warranty claims on the higher HP model...?

I haven't been quoted anywhere near that steep of a price difference...

I think he is comparing the spark 2up 60 horsepower verses the spark 3up with 90 horsepower and Ibr. The cost difference between the same model with the only differences being tbe 30 hp is right around 700.00

No, they are both fly by wire. That's how they both get ECO mode....Plus I just looked at the part number and it is the same

Why not just order the factory ECU when you order the 60hp cheaper model???

    ECU retails for $969.00

If you have a friend who can get a discount on it you will get it cheaper!!!
