92 650 SL Whats the drain hole in the back of the hull next to jet pump for ?

Should this hole be plugged or Isn't water going to get inside the hull with this hole.
    Any info would be great.

And what is a good site to order the 3 output fuel pump upgrade kit.

Traditionally, that hole is used to sink the machine shortly after launching. Many PWC owners have used the drain hole for exactly that, sinking the machine.

If you want to defer your sinking to a later time, install a drain plug. The stock original drain plug is an expandable rubber stopper which can become lost or forgotton.

I suggest you purchase and install a new captive drain plug. Drill two small holes for the mounting screws (do not drill all the way through to the inside). Apply a modest bead of sealant around the hole and install the new drain plug assembly.

I just came across this drain plug reminder idea/product. I wonder what we could come up with that would fit into the captive drain plug hole without damaging the threads

I still couldn't figure out why we call it "drain hole" while it works better as a "fill hole"
