1997 785 pro cdi into a 1997 sl 780

What modifications do i have to do to install it ? thank you for all your help

There is a thread somewhere on here describing how to rewire the stock Fuji electrical to work with the 785 Pro CDI.
As I recall, the primary wiring difference is the way the ignition coils are wired for the 785 CDI.
I do not recall how much different the timing curves are between the two.

The coils are not daisy chained as in the 650/750/780 Fuji setups. There are several wires that remain unused as well. The 97 carried 32 degrees of advance vs the stock 97 SL780 with 24 degrees of advance.
Some of the 785 CDIs are physically different in size/shape and will not bolt into a standard 650/750/780 box.

well i found the cdi after two years in a box i tried follow the how to you linked me blue fish but it didnt seem to work i bought this cdi from martos 2 years ago ... it would be great if someone explained to me how i could fit this to a 1996 polaris sl 780 yes 1996. thank you here are some pictures
