    R&D R3vf vs. the R3 reflash

who here is using the R&D R3vf reflash instead of the R3 and what results are you having with it, what did you have to do to tune it etc. no matter what i seem to be reaching 8780 max on a 8850 rpm limit, no sure if the knock sensor is pulling timing as i'm not really that high in the boost numbers, 13-14lbs going to swap out ecu's with a R3 to see if i pick up some rpm/mph. seems to be stuck at 86mph with either impeller.. uug getting aggravated to say the least

I think you might be too close to the limiter with your rpm to know if you are already on it or not.

maybe, i'd rather have a higher limit and be able to spin the motor more, but glen said he couldnt raise the limit on the flash, if i had known prior, i would if went with a different flash that let my get 9200 to 9500, the motor is built to take it, more testing........

Your going to have to be faster than that. Hope you figure it out soon. Thats strange that you can't reflash to a higher limit.

I have found the rev limit kicks in 100 rpm less from the actual limiter that is set which is why you are where you are. You can have the r3 raised to 9500 if you want.
Would be nice to know about the r3vf with the two options though.

yeah Gus, i had requested the rpm limit set to 9500, and left a note for glen to call me if there were any questons or anything else he needed to know, that note went ignored and the limit was set to 8850. poor business practice IMO !!!!! thats the wat it is with no competition.... could have at least called and said we cant do 8850 on this flash yet, would you like something else ??? Yellows ecu is on the way and i'm pretty sure i'm on the right track with my speed/rpm problems now

Don't feel bad John I had a reflash that had a r2 on it and send it to Glenn and he told me it wasn't a stock computer but had his sticker on it!! He had just flashed it three previous to this. So I ended up with almost 1400$ in reflashed within a month
