China made aftermarket Polaris CDI's for Fuji 650 & 750 engines

well seems that a Chinese company is now making aftermarket CDI's for Polaris 650/750.

They contacted me..so I'm waiting for the price list to show up.

It was only a matter of time right?

Full Details here as soon as I get the pricing and shipping info

Good - competition for my Brazilian made ones...... Do yourself a favor and make sure someone has actually tested them first.....

the company has the usual covering of aftermarket stators and cdi for all manners of skis and lots of other parts as well.

While I'm happy with WSM as my aftermarket ignition supplier, they don't do Polaris ( yet)..but the fact that more the a single company is doing it now means that the supply and prices will hopefully fall.

This whole spark thing may end up hurting me, as who is going to put 2-3k into fixing their old ski when they can get a new one with a warranty and a 4-stroke engine for just a couple of bucks more.

this also may mean less Polaris part outs and a shortage of parts we're accustomed to having lots of.

We'll see what the pricing is like on lots of their stuff shortly, they claim to have a US distributor..so I'm waiting to speak with them.

Did you mean MORE Polaris part-outs would occur if it becomes less economical to repair and maintain the old Polaris?

What I want to see is someone modernize the Polaris ignition, especially on the domestic engines. Multiple stators and CDI variations is not necessary. Specialized computer software required to select timing curves is just silly.

I want to see a single 'universal' stator and a single universal CDI that works in all domestic engine configurations. This is not difficult, just requires some actual product thinking and engineering. A single universal stator and CDI for the (non-Pro 785) Fuji engines would complete the package.
