Motor not firing after putting back together...HELP

04 RXP...first off the ski sat for 2 years with no battery connected to it (not sure if it makes a diff or not). However, recently took the motor out to do valve job and flywheel bolt replacement...put it all back together and will not fire off (however does turn over just fine and will occasionally start for a sec or two then shut off).

So here is what I have looked at so far...

    1. The throttle cable is not stuck open
    2. New battery with fresh slow charge on it
    3. No codes on memory or messages on dash
    4. Does beep twice when the key is placed on dess
    5. Tried using the learner key (same thing)
    6. Double checked all of the wiring harness plugs to correct locations
    7. Reseated and tested all fuses (all have 12+ volts through them)
    8. Measured voltage at coils plug and all have 12+ volts at coil.
    9. Performed compression test #1 (120-125) #2( 120-125) #3(125-130)
    10. Used timing tools to lock in timing (the most this could be off is a tooth...being that I could have chosen the tooth that was not the best option of the two)
    11. Never removed the flywheel (just one bolt at a time to replace)
    12. The ski has fresh gas in it and is getting gas to the cylinders (remove plugs and they smell like gas)
    13. The starter solenoid has 12+ volts across it when measuring under red caps from screw to screw.

So could it be the timing...could it be that all 3 coils are bad...any safe way to test for a spark, without a spark tester...could something not be lined up correctly like the trigger wheel or similar??

I am at a loss at this point...any and all suggestions of where to look next are much appreciated.

Thanks for the replies...yes I hear the fuel pump when I put the key on the post...I am using brand new NGK plugs....and no I have not tested the actual fuel pressure.

What is the safest way to test those plugs for spark?

Got the crank angle sensor on the right plug, believe there is 2 in the area that interchange but will cause a no fire situation.

so confirmation that there is spark...however I am going to pickup a new set of plugs to try just in case....any ideas for troubleshooting the fuel? I hear the fuel pump kick on when the key is inserted.

Chuck a pressure gauge on the fitting on the line going to the rail, if fuel was sitting in there for two years god knows what the pump looks like.
