    Need help with 01 genesis 1200 DI no fuel no spark

    I got a 2001 Genesis 1200 DI with 115 hr. It was abandoned at a local shop so it sat for 2 or 3 year's,they said it had a bad EEM but when I got it I was able to get it running by putting a fuel pump in but it wasn't running well it would just start for a few seconds then cutt off. So after running it a couple of times to work on it all of the sudden it doesnt have any spark or fuel what would cause this any help would be great. I have read all of the post about this ski and checked the lr switch and trouble codes they were 17,49,47 and a couple of other things. The ski is a 2001 but the eem has a date of 2008 maybe it has gone out again? Plesae help, I want to fix it not just throw money at it. Thanks

    How did you check the LR module?

    I disconnected all Lr wires and moved the non Lr black/white wire to black.

    Measure the voltage on White/Red wires while cranking. Should be over 20 volts.

    Ohm check the CPS sensor and the temp sensors.

    All of the red / white wires read 6.8 volts at the eem. The cps reads 741 and the air temp is 1.844 is this right? Thanks

    None of those are good numbers.

    CPS resistance should be around 140 OHMS. Measured with sensor unplugged from wire harness.

    Air temp sensor ohms should be around 1000. Exhaust sensor is similar ohms. Both are measured with sensor unplugged from wire harness.

    White/Red wires are all interconnected. Should be over 20 volts when cranking.

    I will double check them again today. Is there any way to bypass the CPS just to check and see if that is not my problem?

    The CPS provides a critical signal to the EMM. The engine cannot run without it.

    I checked it again and got 160 on the CPA and 820 on the air temp.
