03 GP1300R jet nozzle diameter question.
Hai gaiz ...
got a 03 GP1300R, current mods are as follows:
Riva intake grate
Riva rubber pipe Exhaust thingie
Riva EFI controller (dont need one but have one for future head milling but not yet)
R&D ride plate
Cat delete / D plate
Riva 14/20 Prop
I heard that Stock GP1300R nozzles are 85mm
and 02 GP1200R are 87mm
my question is, which one is better on a GP1300R?
many thanks in advance.

It's made by solas but it's a riva 14/20 prop

w/o the increase in compression, that 14/20 is going to be too big. rpms are going to drop significant and it will be real slow.

I have the 14/20 and its horrible for my stock ski. with the prop that adds speed to a modded craft it actually takes away speed from a stock ski since the engine can't turn it. this winter im going down to a 13/19.

The 87mm will give it a few more rpm and make it feel more responsive. If you have trouble turning the 14/20 I would add more power.
Run open air box, advance the timing (keyway), mill heads or a set of reeds will wake it up for sure.

Keep @ It !!! I am now on the back side .... and rounding 3rd I have now got the heads milled (150 psi), 4* key way , Jet works hole shot valve, Dyna 14/20, SS800 grate (cut to 1200), Pump shoe stuff kit, R & D ride plate, Pet 2100 tach, ... and power shot fuel controller. Its now tune ... tune ... tune, trying to get the max rpms by tuning the fuel controller. I did solve my hole shot problem & my mid-range is outstanding. Just want to crack the 70 mph gps #'s. Spend now about $1200. getting here ... my max RPMs is @ 7040, WFO says should get 7100 to 7200 + . It is my belief that if I can find that elusive 160 rpms .. I will crack the 70+ gps. Any advice would be helpful
