Is this the correct oil filter?

I ordered an oil filter for my 2000 1100 STX DI, and got the following: Is this the correct part? It does not seem to fit the oil tank correctly.

Yes, that is the correct filter. I use a funnel to fill my oil tank. Put the funnel into the filter and fill the tank. I use a one gallon milk jug cut down to make a big funnel. It fits onto the filter and makes it easier to fill, especially if you need to fill while ski is in the water and it's rough.

Thanks. I just thought it would fit better.

It fits sloppy so air can escape when you fill it.

I'm in the process of installing these in my old 750s after having an inline oil filter plug up and fry the engine. At least with this type, you can remove it and flush it easily.
