Welcome to the Hulk. Be sure to check out the Canada Rides section and hook up with us for some great riding. Lots of good peeps to hang with on the water. 👍

    Welcome

You are about four hours by road from us, I imagine. Perhaps we can connect next summer. Off season riding is also possible, with the right gear.

Certainly read up on maintaining and operating your machine. Beyond that, there is lots to learn about skills, preparedness and equipment for safety and riding best practices.

There are some excellent threads in the non-vender specific forums on Greenhulk. Even the sections for other brands often have useful info that applies to most or all brand watercraft.

Even the Trailer section has lots of good info.

    thanks for the great points

realize already this place is filled with cool folks with lots of knowledge

i keep my mustang full floater in the truck with me year round & the thought of cooler riding already crossed my mind

did 5 years of pipeline diving around the great lakes , in my youth, have my north-sea cat #1 commercial lic, have port of toronto harbour lic etc

i am a type A personality that is not satisfied looking over a cliff, got to go to the edge....always soak up info from experienced folk first

got my American A lic for skydiving as well

again thanks for the good points - good response to show a noob the correct, safe direction to max this new experience

May I ask why you chose such that particular model of personal watercraft?

What kinds of riding do you do? Smooth waters, wide open large water (which is often choppy or rough)?

One person or two on board?

i am getting ready to retire in a couple of years

sold 1 of my bikes & used the $ to buy the ski

i wanted a ski that was good on fuel & that could carry a waterproof bag on back to carry camping gear

wife & i are into camping on uninhabited islands

my 24ft 1950 Coast-Guard Motor Launch drinks fuel, with a 327 4B on board & can not get into the shallow spots we wish to explore

my desire is to find a ghost-ship , in the great lakes before i am too old to dive
