03 SeaDoo GTX Going 64??
Just wondering if this speed of 64 on a GPS sounds right for a slightly modded 03 GTX
Has the following mods:
05 215hp 4-Tec motor orig 185 was blown
42lb Green injectors
Bigger 05 RXT aluminum jet pump
Solas 14/19 impeller
4 inch Kanaflex intake
I updated the cylinder head to SuperTech valves and the SuperTech springs and retainers, 829 cam
I still have not seen it go above 8000 RPMs, it will go to 8000 and that is it.
I'm pretty sure the things that are holding it back are the Stock internal intercooler and Stock exhaust system. I was looking at installing an external IC on it, but I might have to run rear thru hull exhaust to fit the IC??
Just looking for any advice on anything I haven't thought of that could get a few more mph out of it??

I buddy has my old 03 gtx that I made into a exact 215, then added a green wheel and it runs 68 maybe 69 on glass. (gps)
Completely stock engine and hull. Oh the resonator is gone too. even stock intake grate. Ride plate holes filled.

Thanks for that info, thought it was a little weird that it would read only up to 8000 Rpms
Yes mine still has the entire Stock exhaust including that resonator. I'll look at it tomorrow again, maybe there is a way to eliminate it and just have the WaterBox.

did you put a 215 fuel regulator in?

Well I was using a Speed App on my iPhone 5 to get max speed on the ski. Not sure how accurate it is. I do have a Garmin Forerunner 201 and I'll try using that next time.
I actually do have a CMD unit but was going to use it on my GPRXP project ski, I'll have to get that LCD piece for it and that WB2 auto tune unit

Yes I did switch out the fuel pump unit for a 215 pump unit, I also have the grey 50lb fuel injectors, do those work any better with the Riva ECU versus the green 42lb injectors??
