anyone have a mini bike?
I was looking for a street toy to play with in the fall/spring and came across mini bikes. 49cc engines, make around 5hp and they're tiny as hell. they do around 40 apparently which seems fast enough being 3 inches off the ground. Pretty cheap too, around $300. I basically narrowed my options down to the Grand Prix rs-r and the Blade49r. looks like they're the same exact machine on the inside except the rs-r had suspension which i think is pretty cool.
I didn't realize how small they were until i saw a picture of someone on it. i'm 5'7 and about 130 pounds and the website says it'll hold 300 pounds and be a comfortable ride for under 6ft tall.

had a look. the ysr50 is way out of my price range, i think i'm just looking for something cheap to ride around once in a while and mess with in the garage.
I really only have engine experience with watercraft, I could take my 650 engine apart and put it back together with my eyes closed so its gonna be nice to learn how a street bike works even if its on a smaller scale

Just get a pit bike. I had a 70cc bored to 110cc and a 4 speed clutch drive that hit 53-55. It was fun, all for less than 750$.
I'm 6'3" 195 and was easy to ride.

Pit bikes also look tempting! so many options at this point i might just save up for a full size street bike and wait till i get my motorcycle license.
I think i'll settle for the Blade49r pocket bike just since i can afford it right now and i don't have to worry about blowing to much money if i hate it. I definitely want a full size bike in the future though.

They are both both but my pocket bike topped out at like 25-30 and seemed to be lacking in durability. I could actually ride wheelies for blocks on the pit bike. Both are fun though

Haha the website said 50mph. I was like that can't be right
