    power valve ok to use?

    redoing my 1st 66e 1x powervavle looks normal the 2nd has little chip/worn spot on both sides ok to use or not?
    ref to pic the other valve is flat to the edge.

    this is the area you should worry about

    just make sure the shaft isn't worn too bad, and that the guillotine is still attached to the stem... no cracks or blemishes

    those marks are from the valve dropping down to far in the cylinder and rattling around

    the down side to that kind of wear is the valve may get too close to the piston

    It won't be long before that power valve hits the piston. Replace it now The issue is the stem being worn.
