    Question Flushing at the Beach

    Hi,

I am planning on taking my Seadoo out on the sea but I am very particular about flushing even after a lake visit...Thus my question (searched and couldn't find anything really) is:

As I am going for 2 days staying in a Hotel, and will probably use the Ski on both days, how does one (or rather where) flush their Ski when at the beach? I can take a hose with me, but need to know where I can safely get a tap available to me? I also thought maybe a car wash would have something I could use.

    Any recommendations?

    Where are you going?
I have been all over the Gulf Coast and I usually find a car wash that has a hookup for flushing. If not sometimes where we are staying has a hook up.

    Cool

It's not going to harm the ski to not flush it for a couple days. I know people who ride salt water every day and when they are done they just park there doos on floating docks till the next ride. They've been Dooing this for 3+ years and not 1 issue.

There is no need to ever flush after fresh water lake rides. That's just a waste of time and fresh water.

I would be more concerned as to how and where your locking up your ski at night while traveling. They are an easy target for thieves...

I am going to Daytona Beach, if it is normal for a car wash to have a hook up then that's my answer. Thanks.

I will be parking the Ski in the Hotel car park that I will be staying at. Any thoughts as to how one could "lock it up"? The trailer is locked so that can't be towed, they would need to remove it from the trailer.

Most hotels have a tap and will let you use it.

I have some very good friends who live and ride in daytona. Pm me if your interested in riding with them and i can put you in contact with them.

As far as locking up your ski I'd suggest every way possible..
To the trailer, block it with other cars, lock the trailer wheels, everything...

Who knows maybe 1 of my buddies will let you park in there garage for the night ...

I just hate it when thrives strike...
Wish I could catch some and exact some justice..

I've had my ski's in hotel parking lots. I put the cover on them and back them so they're unable to grab it easily. Lock it, keeping it connected to your car.

to deter a thief make it difficult and noisy for them to get to your ski.

a cable thru the grate to the trailer axel can deter most lift offs..but there are about 432 messages regarding theft prevention.

frankly..I'd be looking into the friendly garage solution myself...

....if it's payback you are looking for, leave your iphone in the hull....

Leaving your phone in it doesn't seem like a bad idea. Just make sure you actually have the GPS tracking set up on it.

Never thought of the phone tracking.
    That's a brilliant idea...
