    Question GP13r no go.....

    Hi guys!
    Q: my 13r isn't sparking but is turning over as usual. No alarms up,done a few checks but any ideas?
    its got Riva filter,carbon reeds,d cat plate... It's an '03 model...I don't want to take it to the dealer to plug it into the diagnostic but if I need to....

    check for open in water temp sensor or throttle cable sticking/not returning back to true idle

    the water temp sensor on the back end of the stinger, if it is not connected or not plugged with a bypass plug, it wont spark. ALSO what rich said above about cable, there is a RECALL at yamaha for gp13's for this issue. free cable / adjusntmnt.
