    Winterizing

    How do I winterize a 2013 rxp x 260?

    I think there's a sticky in the How-Tos, but I've got a list of stuff you'll need:

Is there an updated video for 2013 ? It also didn't talk about flushing the system with air?

As long as you flush with anti-freeze, I don't see any reason you'd need to flush with air.

I think all the main elements are the same as in that video, with the exceptions I point out in my article.

When I blow it out with air does the machine need to be on or off?

As long as it's PINK, you're fine. Head to the auto parts store and ask for the pink anti-freeze. That means it's primarily for boats and RVs, and is biodegradable.

So how many gal do I need to blow in and I assume the motor need to be running as I do it?

I happen to own a water type fire extinguisher set up for back flushing the system with antifreeze.

Do you use straight antifreeze or mixed like 50-50

Propylene Glycol is the non-toxic anti-freeze you want. This is often pink, but so is some other stuff that is not propylene glycol.

    Not alcohol, not ethylene glycol.

Great point. I've added that to my blog post.
