I have a GTR also. When at the lake my gloves and goggles are either on me or on the table at camp. I carry a liter water bottle with me on rides and a hat stuffed in there and a web strap boarding ladder for the wife in case she ever bailed and needed to reboard in deep water.

That's about all I can get in there. I have to position the water very carefully to get it to fit so the lid can shut. I can fit in a phone if I wanted to or when I am doing a gps speedo app.

When not riding the only thing I keep in there is the key. My gloves and goggles I keep in the house in my "go box".

I stick electronic items in a small zip up bag that's similar to shaving kit size...phone, GPS, extra batteries, charger/alligator clips, Go Pro. Everything else dumped in...bungie cords for docking, sun/safety glasses, hard copies of maps on trail rides, spare lanyard with whistle (required in some states), registration card.

i ordered 2 of the witz cases one for my phone and another for registration/id/$$ both are waterproof and of course i have to try and do things over the top so i broke out the velcro. yeah didnt work LOL so i stuffed both into a ziplock bag. got 2 pairs of gloves, goggles, both lanyards and trailer paperwork til the plate arrives. good enough.

Personally have the FZR and HO that has separate dry storage, but I did use a dry bag as it would contour to the space rather than a hard case. After squeezing out the air, it would keep everything pretty much in place.

once i got the witz cases which are nice i realized exactly what you mentioned they will flop around. hence my bright idea with velcro LOL. at the moment everything is packed in there pretty good but will use some stuff next time i ride.

i may end up going with a larger dry pack as well just to keep it in place. with having a cell in there cant be to careful about it staying dry.
