Afr sensor on new pipe
Hello guys, is possible installation AFR sensor on new style " J pipe" from 2008 to 2014? Thanks.

on a 08+ the best spot is in the manifold
they have a "mid pipe" and its to small to put the sensor in

the 08 and up exhaust manifolds have thicker walls where you drill for the AFR sensor to go,
see below 06 exhaust manifold cut in half, it is pretty thin, but you don't need to tap all the way down, just deep enough to where the threads are going

Can the manifold be drilled while still bolted to the motor?

Here's a thread I started... In case you ran in the same issue... Make sure you don't move when you tap the hole... First thread were not good for me... I had to remove about 1/4 with a counterbored... Take your time!
