    Stalling and long crank on restart when hot - Ideas please before I go out again

    All, my ski has developed 2 faults that I think are connected. It does not do them all the time or even both at the same time.

    Stalling when hot - If you let off the throttle quickly it will stall. Starts up and idles fine, until you rev it and it will stall again.

    Long cranking on restart - Will restart in the end, seems to like the throttle to be open a little bit.

    I have not been able to retest the ski since doing the following due to weather here but am throwing open the question to see if there is anything I may have missed.

    So far, cleaned throttle body and replaced idle control valve. Checked TPS seeing correct values with Candoo / CMD. Checked for air leaks.

    Oh and its done this with two different ECU's with two different tunes on them.

    As I say, I may have cured it already but am looking for other ideas before I hit the water again.

    Mods to ski are below.

    Try a compression test, and see if it's low on any cyls.

    Done that about 2 engine hours ago to make sure the newly built engine was settling in nicely. All good and even.

    Things I have thought of as I slept..

    Bypass the CMD unit with the plug they supply, just to eliminate it.

    Fuel pressure check on long crank

    Try replacing the temp sender on the head.
