    MSX Oil change

I am changing the oil in my 2004 MSX 150. The instructions say to run it and fill till the low mark on the dipstick not screwed in. I thought I remembered reading in the forum to only fill it till it shows on the dipstick. I did a search and cant find it. Am I rembering right or are the instructions right.
    Thanks for any help

    JIM

Hey Hawk WELCOME to the Green Hulk Forums!!! Nice Avatar.
Did you check the tech section under Weber engine oil change? I may not have put it up yet but there are a few guys changing their oil and they'll be able to tell you as I don't remember.

    Hi Hawk,

Welcome to the Greenhulk. Do you have the oil change procedure? If not follow the link craft gave you. You will put between 3.4 and 3.7 quarts back in the engine. Start the engine and let it run 30 seconds but not more than a minute without being hooked to a flush kit. When you check the oil you want it to be at the MIN mark when you just stick the dip stick in. Don't screw the dip stick in when checking the oil level. If you need any other assistance let me know.

No problem Jim. I had to pretty much re-build my engine last year so I am very familiar with the thing. This is the the place to be to get questions answered. If it weren't for a couple of guys on here (4strokepolaristech, ph2ocraft and others) I think I would still be pulling my hair out. My ride is back together and running great.
