Where exactly is this? Is there a place to get close to the beach and set up camp (beer cooler that is) and enjoy riding and stuff? Or is it just ride and ride all day cuz you cant get close to shore with the skis?

I tried to get a pdf print out off of Google Earth, and it's blowing
off for some reason. The John Lloyd state park is just south
of the Port Everglades channel out to the Ocean. You launch there
at a nice ramp and there is a protected cove and restaurant. You
can beach there and walk across to the Atlantic Ocean beach.

You ride out of there north and go out the Everlades channel and you're in the
ocean. You can go south and you'll be at the beach. You can't
come into any Broward beaches via powered boat/PWC.

So Im guessing it would be open water riding to halouver? Cuz those no wake zones in the intercoastal SUCK!

See thats what I like about Flagler Memorial Island. Its a nice place to chill at the beach, and a nice place to ride around in the intercoastal wit little to no no wake zones. You can also go out to the ocean in front of Ocean Drive....
