New project for GP1300R New hull OverHaul

while i am dialing down my ski with the the tuneup that i wanna run, and getting all the little gremlins situated, i Picked up a new hull, Formally owned by a Famous basketball player for the orlando magic.. New hull could use a new coat of paint so i figurd Ehh, why Not. previous owner had both of his skis painted in orlando Magic colors. Im going to go with Lambo Orange PPG Code 903272, and Black bottom. ill be posting pics of the progress over time, this project will be my winter achievement. in mean time, if anyone could provide me with some info as to what to use to paint the bottom of the hull ? i wanna switch from White to black, but i want to do it right, not just base coat clear coat as it is my understanding that the base of the ski is also the stopping power?

    alright,
well, i finally got around to working on my ski before summer season starts here in FL, "sold" the other hull to a member here on the forum. still have yet to see the money for it, or the hull. thats what you get or trusting people .... whats wrong with people these days... anyhow here are my updates from this week, i decided to go with B-95P color which is the 99-00 honda civic Si blue, (to me one of the most beautiful colors.) let me know what you dudes think. Hope you guys like it, enjoy

this is how it looked when i got it last summer.

It had a very nasty chunk taken out, the previous owner really molested this thing, so it needed some fiberglass repair work.

more coming soon in a week or so, till then, let me know what u dudes think

WFO Rich is kind enough to be hooking me up with a head that will get my PSI up significantly, and advance the timing 5 degrees. besides that i have a complete stage 2 from riva already on it. Riva tabs, riva ride plate, 14/20, exit cone, 87mm exit nozzle, gp12r water box, riva steering nozzle, riva intake grate, riva filter, riva d plate, stuff kit, shoot prob something else but i cant remember right now, shooting for Mid 70's but im feeling optimistic this should be enough for this summer, when season ends im gonna do a SHO conversion.

bystrov ... you are doing a super job. I just love the Yami GPR. There is so much you can do with these machines .... the only limit is $$$ really. Keep the Yami 2 strokes alive!

That'll be a nice set up. I've been buying parts over the past couple months and before I realized it I had slowly accumulated most of the stage 2 kit lol. I'll probably start installing more parts this weekend if I can find the time
