    2000 yamaha gp1200r $2000

hello im selling my 2000 yamaha gp1200r. Ski has 120 hours. It has a d plate with chip, new piston rings (as of last year), converted to premix, and a new drive shaft ( all 3 parts ). Ski runs perfectly but i barely got to use it this summer and just dont have time for it anymore. Im going to college and wont be home to use it and need some money. I have not run the ski since late july but i am willing to have it professionally winterized by the same shop i get it done by every year. If u want ski i will have it winterized for u. Text me at 1-631-889-5586 or email me at [email protected]. Im asking $2000 negotiable. Dont be afraid to offer me a price! text/email for pics.

also warning light comes on indicating low oil but ski is converted to premix and once i connect battery a loud noise almost like warning light noise goes off and i dont have the time to fix both, will negotiate alot since i cant take this anymore. nothing under $1000, all u will need to do is fix the warning light and other noise and u have a perfect ski for less than $2000

Duct tape the oil floats to the full position then set it and FORGOT IT!

I heard you can also use a paper clip macgyver style and short out the oil connector

i was able to fix the beeping sounds caused from when connecting the negative so the only beeping is warning light indicating low oil, i fired it up today and it ran fine, nothing wrong with it besides warning light beeping, great deal here!

what did you do to fix the first problem, and instead of using duct tape you can zip-tie the float on the oil sensor to the full position and the warning buzzer should stop. what kind of comp readings are you getting from the engine and who did the work on it. has the carbs ever been rebuilt?

To fix the first problem i just disconnected the battery for the night and the next day i hooked it back up and everything was fine, i really have no idea what could have caused it. I have never done a compression test and the since i have owned it the work has been done by a shop called 495 motorsports (notice the sticker on back of ski). I dont no if carbs have been rebuilt. Lowest ill take is $1400-$1500 for it. Need it gone for some extra college cash.

If you were closer, I'd jump on it for that price.
