A 2014 FZR showed up at my shop this morning!

Thanks to lasportsmn (GL) for bringing it all the way from World Finals for me

Going to do some testing with it in stock condition and then start adding the mods. Looking forward to tinkering with it.

Of course I filled it up and headed straight for the water and I gave GL honors of having the first ride.

We ran the new FZR against his stock class race ski and the FZ faired rather well for a bone stock ski. GL has some video footage I'm sure he will post up later.

Thanks again GL for bringing it home for me.

I was very impressed with the performance of the new FZR SVHO. The accelleration, handling and mostly the top speed of this bone stock FZR proves to me that Yamaha has done what they needed to do to take this ski to the next level. I am comfident that this will be a very fun ski for the speed and race guys once some modifications are made. For a recreational owner they should be thrilled as it comes out the box.

It doesn't matter to me one bit. I borrowed it for testing and developmental purposes and will suit my needs just fine
