Thread: Cmd question

Using a cmd would i still need a rrfpr ? Or just injectors and cmd... I have 50lb rivas/cmd with autotune/danny's fuel rail. What do i need exactly for fuel? (et137+4 rxp stage 3)

Not sure if its manatory but with 50s I would and set it up for rising rate.
It might work without it but then you might be pushing those injectors to 100% DC.

IMO try using 43psi base psi with the rrfpr with the bigger injectors
unless your already mapped for 50s
aren't the riva 50s the injectors that lock up under higher psi
any injector running near 100% DS can act up
also the cmd does not like 100%

Riva 50s are lucas/delphi. I have an amazing write up on them somewhere. Cost me a 3.8 forged race engine. Terrible spray pattern too.
IMO they're the worst injectors you can put into these machines or in a car.

RRFPR is not necessary, but I would recommend that you buy a set of Bosch 50's.

both these injector set up will flow the same fuel
58psi base @ 15psi boost
43psi base @ 15psi boost with a rrfpr @ 1:1
but if you hit 100% DC without the rrfpr or adjustable fpr, your SOL no more fuel available
and with the rrfpr you just bump up the base for more fuel available from idle to wot

I see... I'll probably sell these and get Bosch 60's
