    starter bendix go bad?

Wondering if my starter bendix is bound up, or bad. I can turn the motor over with a socket at the S/C fairly easy, but the starter drags very bad. It is a brand new SBT starter. Bad starter, bad bendix? Will I have to tear down the motor again to get to the bendix?

good point, I don't know what will happen If you don't put all 3 washers back in, or don't put them in the correct order

I bought my RXP in a box and those were missing in I just threw 2 washers in with about 1/4 of a spring in between. It looks like if nothings in there the bendix will slide forward and could bind up.
