    Newbie from down under

    Hi all,

Ive been lurking around for a few days now and finally registered just now.

Tomorrow I'm off to look at a 01 gp1200 and if its as good as it supposed to be ill be towing it home!
It has 130hrs on it but the owner has done all the servicing himself so will make sure I give a very thorough going over!
Im also looking at getting a 00 gpr as well. Gp for wife gpr for me!

Looking forward to getting out on the water!
Does anyone know where I can get a comprehensive service manual for not only the motor but also for rebuilding the carbs?

    Cheers
    brent

Well that didn't go to plan!
Got a message on the morning the guy had sold the gp....
Went and looked at an R instead, was very average condition,
But did have a rebuild 25-30 hours ago and had 110 psi across all cylinders... Passed on it..
Then today (my birthday) bought a 2000 gpr with a list as long as my arm of aftermarket bits and pieces including bore kit to 1390! It's pretty tidy for its age!

    Cheers

I've just emailed you the service manual. Its 9mb. Hopefully it sends due to its size.
Sorry for the delay, I only just received notification that you had replied this morning.
    Cheers

Careful with all of those mods. The more mods, the less reliable a ski can get. Got any pics and the list of mods it has?
