It's right next to the pump. In fact one of the pump bolts holds it on. It has a couple of hoses and is about 1.25 inches in diameter.

I'm assuming just cap or plug the lines going to the auto shutoff.

I dont rember if it teeed into the same pulse line that feeds the fuel pump. If so remove the tee.
scorp some models do not have the autocock as there was a service bulletin to remove it. You will have to look and see if it is there.

It appears I have to remove the carbs to remove the old fuel plumbing and to connect the new, any tips. I'm replacing all the fuel hoses, I think I can feel the restrictor in the return line. It's about 2 inches past the fuel manifold hookup. Is this where they usually are?
    Thanks

You can leave the carbs on but its a PITA. Yes the fuel restrictor is aprox 1" inserted into the return hose.
