25 hours on 2013 PX and slip is at 4 pounds.......

Got the charger off and working on getting it set what a PIA.

Can I add an extra McMaster or do you have to stay with the same amount of shims?

Reading up in the manual now.......

I've heard from troyheb that his slip was gone at about 20 hours or so too.

Just installed a fresh set of McMasters in the factory order and slip is at 9.5-10 pounds.

Thats about right, if you are only turning stock RPM...but thats right on the limit, and it will start to wear right away...

Turn one of the spring washers around, so instead of )()()...its )))()....See what slip is....Aim for 12-13 pounds for the X...

Thanks Danny. I'll give that a try, the SC is still sitting in the vise.

Wow... my 2012 charger was right in spec at 47hrs.

Curious what kind of mph/rpm/temp did you run before all this?

I did have an R&D tune on it for about 16 hours and was spinning around 8250, 71.5 mph and put the 160 thermo in after about 10 hours. No wave jumping, just an occasional choppy lake. Mostly flat water wot runs.

I didn't really break the ski in either. Rode it hard from the first hour till now.

Lots of things come into play with a "new" Scer and its slip...Break in,oil type,Spring washer tension,Ect ect ect...BRP does not sit there and adjust every Scer to the "desired" slip..they bolt them together according to what they consider spec and let them go...So one Scer may have a higher slip then the next even though they came off the same assembly line.....

heh.. I rode and jumped the crap out of mine. oil change at 7 hrs 25 hrs just recently at 50 hrs. Probably over kill...but oil and filters are cheap. I've had the Athena on it for about 20hrs. 8250 71.5 is nice. Only time I saw that was when it was in the 60's out.
