    What sealant do you guys use on the supercharger case halves?

    Need to know, the manual says loctite 5910. Is that the "right stuff"?

    Thats what it looks like from the factory.......

    Blue loctite on the bolts and i use permatex black rtv for the cases

    No, 5910 is not the "right stuff". 5910 is what BRP came up with for the DI crank cases and now on the 4tec cases and S/C housings

    Yup...But black permatex works just fine....ive done a ton of Scers and have had 0 issues using the permatex....

    Sweet. I'd swear that factory stuff is the"right stuff" but that shit is impossible to get off.

    I'll pick up some black RTV.

    The only issue with using plain old Permatex RTV on the SC halves is that it sets up quicker than something like 1211. On a SC half, it is not that critical, though. You don't have bearing crush to worry about like the crankcase halves. Use it really sparingly and get the halves together quickly and you will be fine.
