    Is there an issue?

    I have a 2000 gp1200r. I went riding the other day and after I got done riding and pulled my ski up I noticed this rubber sealant hanging out of the intake. I took a picture of this and have attached it. Is this something I should be worried about? If so, what do I need to do to fix this? Thanks.

    Wire brush the groove, smear some silicone in there, and push it back into place. Any place around the pump that is an open cavity can cause cavitation.
