Which impellers and jet pump stators require the longer impeller spacer?

the 8/12 vane stators have a different leading edge angle and don't require the longer spacer.

as a side note the nu-jet and polaris version skats don't work as well on the 8/12 vane stators.
    Interesting. Have I got this right then;

    Five vane aluminum stator
Some Skat impellers require the longer impeller spacer
Polaris branded impellers do NOT require the longer spacer

Six vane Stainless Steel Polaris stator
Some Skat impellers require the longer impeller spacer
Polaris branded impellers do NOT require the longer spacer

Polaris 8 and 12 vane stainless steel stators
Short impeller spacer is OK, even with genuine Skat brand impellers.
Polaris versions of Skat impellers, and Nu-Jet impellers, fit OK but do not pump optimally

Standard length impeller spacer is part # 5010295 measures 0.765in long

Apparently 5134505 is the supersede part number for the original 5010295 spacer.
    See photos regarding measured length

Longer length impeller spacer is part xxxxxxx measures 0.911in long
Is this only a Skat made part, or also sold by Polaris?

I cribbed the prior post from another thread.

Sorting through some parts today, I came across an impeller spacer that measures 0.86 inches long overall, including the machined shoulder ridges.

This would be a Polaris OEM spacer 5010295, since it measures internally (inside length not including the shoulders) as 0.75 inches.

    For future reference

Note: You can see the polished rings where the seal lips ride on the spinning spacer. In this case there are no worn ridges or depressions, just slightly more polished metal. Which is just fine.

See also this post regarding the substitute Polaris 4134505 impeller collar spacer.
