After doing an oil change on your VX there is still 2+ quarts of old contaminated oil left in the bottom of the engines oil pan, the 'Last Drop' Oil Extraction Systems, once installed will let you remove the remaining 2+ quarts of oil from inside your engine.

Well that sucks. It shows to only fit 2012 plus models but they sell one for the MR-1 engine too. No love for the 08-11 1.8L owners??? What's the difference between those engines?

I just realized this too. I thought before it stated it was for all. Anyone verify this?

The mr1 engines only allow you to take the oil from the catch can
And that means you only get out half the oil
The 1800 engines the oil is taken from the dip stick
And with a bit of juggling with the extraction hose you can get nearly all the oil out

The "Last Drop" Oil Extraction Systems for the 08-11 Sho 1.8L are currently in developement and Riva is working diligently to get these out also to customers. We know how important good clean oil is, so we ask that owners with the earlier 1.8 motors to give us a bit more time as these engines are configured differently than the later models.

Good enough for me. Thanks for clarifying.

I agree with you but "nearly" on the 1.8 motors did'nt cut it for me when it came to the reliability of our customers engines! trust me, I've "juggled" that extraction hose alot of times and that's the reason why these systems were developed.
