Or is it chips in fish? Tonight I cooked up some fresh Tautog for my wife's art group. I decided to do it a little different this time and it was a big hit!
I breaded the fish and then pressed the fillets in smashed up Doritos ( the "crack" of snack food). Kinda the same way you would do panko. It gave the cooked golden tog nuggets a nice crunch. I served the fried delight up with a couple of sides of wing sauce and some more Doritos.
