Help with RIVA RRFPR install (bracket)

I am trying to install the RIVA RRFPR on an 04 RXP and I believe I received the wrong hull mounting bracket with mine. Can someone please verify the mounting bracket i have...at the top where the bolt holes are is bent 90 degrees which only allows for a horizontal install, whereas the RIVA instructions show an install on the vertical part of the ski that is near the intake tube. It looks like the mounting bracket should be straight at the mounting end whereas its bent 90 degrees which will only allow for a install on the lip of the engine compartment which happens to be where the cowling sits and would create a leak prone area if installed that way and would also not allow the cowling to sit flush with the hull.

    Does that make sense?

On mine you had to drill those two holes and mount it as you described (if I'm understanding you right)... It was an 08 though. I thought earlier years had a tank mount bracket?! Never fear someone with a definite answer will chime in shortly

well...I just hammered away on the bracket to make it work. Flattened it out and then hammered an angle in it. All is good now...its installed as advertised in the directions. Just kinda sucks that I had to do it that way.

Anyone know if my static pressure should be set to 58 or 60 psi (not using the rising rate function)...I am running OEM stock (04 RXP)??
