    Custom GTR

    Hi Guys,

New to greenhulk and this is my first post, ready to start some modifications.

Has anyone put a set of OEM sea doo splash guards on this hull? Do they fit and work well?

Any opinions/feedback on the WORX grate which is specified for the GTR?

Are the Riva Sponsons a direct bolt on?

    Thanks in advance.

i have a GTR as well... amazing ski.

worx has a cpl things for our skis.. you mentioned the grate and they have sponsons as well. according to worx the sponsons are direct bolt on. i dont know if the riva ones are.

    part numbers just in case:
    grate WR243
    sponsons WR553

the worx website should be updated soon with those listed on it.

I didn't realize the Worx grate was out. I would be interested in seeing some back to back testing. I come from a 1996 XP so I do not find the GTR coming unhooked and I ride Lake Huron and Lake Erie.

so far in the few hours ive put on mine i have not noticed it coming unhooked either. now the ass end sliding out here ad there yeah.. but that may be due to me more than the ski.

the GTR is also a 18.5 degree dead-rise to the 23 degree common on the RXP/T.

...and yes, with the trim in the 'neutral' or above position; it rides alot like a flat-track dirt bike - I love the way it rides.

I love the way it handles also, but some instability at times when just cruising i would think these few small mods could fix.

I attached a photo of my GTR from last weekend.

Future plans for performance, Air Intake, Grate, Exhaust, Sponsons and ECU reflash.

I like the look of your machine. Did you take the orange trim at the front of the ski off to paint it? How does it come off?

You should read this post if you haven't already:
