    Motec M400 on FZR issues Please3 Help!!!

    So i am helping out a friend who purchased a Turbo yamaha from the states with m400, the ski ran fine no issues but he said it was a bit sluggish "maybe altitude diff" so he has no idea how to work with the beast and he gets a local car tuner to help and to make a long story short the ski never ran after that. it would not even idle, he asked me to help him since he speaks no English and i have some what some experience with modding my own ski but i have never tuned any motec (i don't have the extra cash unless i get a sponsor in the near future) in the past but i downloaded the software and it docent look like rocket science but i need help, i took a few picture of the screen information i see 2 error and he said it was running with 25psi q16 race fuel i think it is 115-116 octane.

    Goals:
    1) Get it to turn on an idle
    2) Create 2 maps to run on 93 and q16 115-116octane (that way he can enjoy it when it is not racing).
    3) Not sure if motec can be setup to run the ve table by throttle position or boost level in the intake.

    Did you save the initial map that was installed in the unit when it WAS running correctly in the states? If so, that's obviously a better starting point than where you're at now. If that particular map has all the correct calibrations and it "ran fine" previously, I'd work from that file as a reference.

    we removed the cover to confirm engine timing is spot on.

    No. Watch the ref/sync error should say synced when cranking.

    La1 sensor cntrl is the Lambda sensor is not warm. Knock voltage error is the ECU looking for a Knock Module. These errors will not effect
    the engine in any way.

    Please post all the mods on the ski
    Include fuel pressure, injectors, supercharger etc etc
    We can then get you a good start file to work from.

    Its possible there is nothing wrong on the ECU side at all and it is an un related issue.
    Does it have fuel pressure?
    Have you checked the fuses?

    Hello and thank you contributing to the situation, Nils has helped me throwout the day, he mentioned that the timing might had been out of sinc and we took the cover off we found it was 1-2 teeth off, i have posted before and after pics of the timing if you think it is still off please tell me, he tested timing from 320 all the way to i think 460 and it would not fire it would try but no go. fuel pressure is 50psi prior to fixing the timing up top it fired and bucked like a horse really really rough running.
