    No start with ficht

Hey, working on a virage with ficht... Came in with no fuel psi, found the return restrictor popped out of its holder.....ordered the Kawasaki inline restrictor.. Got 20psi but still no start, pump runs, got injector pulse, got spark... Tried an external fuel pump and 40psi of fuel pressure... Still nothing! What am I missing?

    Thanks!

What is the voltage on White/Red wire to injectors? Measured with all injectors plugged in, black meter probe to engine ground.
Must be over 20 volts or no fuel will be injected.

You can confirm weak fuel injector voltage by priming the engine with a small spoonful of fuel down the throttle body air intakes. If it starts when primed, the fuel injectors are not delivering fuel.

Confirm good compression and the other usual 2-stroke engine checks, of course.

Make sure the correct spark plugs are installed. NGK PZFR6H only, no substitutes.

Ok if voltage is low, then what?

I can hear the injectors snapping when cranking.. Will test voltage tomorrow.

If the fuel lines were crossed, would this cause my problem? Got 20v at the injectors but think the lines are crossed...

Exactly 20 volts, or more than 20 volts?

Swapped feed and return fuel hoses should not cause a no-start condition. They should to be correct, of course, before actually riding the machine.

Well, either there is no liquid fuel for the injectors, or the EMM is not properly driving the fuel injectors.

Injector voltage needs to be over 20 volts while cranking. When the engine starts it should jump up to about 45 volts and stay there.

When you primed the engine to get it to start, did it continue to run on its own or die when it burned off the prime?

It ran until the prime burned off...now a new problem has started......the engine cranks any time the battery is connected, even if the tether is not installed....seems like I have heard of this before, any thoughts?
