Someone stole Flame Arrestor off 2001 GP800r -----which bolts do I need?

It been a while since I've been on this forum. Hard to believe but someone took the flame arrestor box while never touching the Yamaha SHO or my boat. I'm struggling looking at the microfiche image trying to determine the bolts that are needed. The local dealer wanted $400. or $200 used for a complete box. I was able to find one on ebay for $35.00. I can't imagine someone would risk stealing this off my dock for a $35.00 part.

Can anyone help me with the bolts I need to order?

    Thanks!

    Jeff.

    Jeff.

Why not get aftermarket flame arrestors at this point?

For the bolts, if you are talking about the 4 long bolts which go through the box into the carbs. I believe they are 6mm but they might be 8mm. I have some off my GP1200r. If you PM me your address I'll drop 4 of them in the mail to you no charge.

    Eric,

Thanks so much for the offer!

Unfortunately, I bought 7 bolts from the local dealer (80 miles away). Once I got the flame arrestor from the ebay seller, I could see what was needed and match it to the parts microfisch. I got free shipping but these things must be gold plated as they cost me almost 20 bucks! I never thought of an aftermarket flame arrestor. --Jeff

its going to cost you even more because you will need the FA adapters to instal them as well

Probably a dumb question but what is an FA adaptor? My guy who works on my PWC's will loan me tools if needed.

its an adapter mount that the aftermarket flame arrestors would mount to.

I don't know of any OEM part that will mount an aftermarket flame arrestor. What did you buy?

Jz - from your name I take it you are at the 3mm LOZ. Whereabouts, north shore or HH? I'm just right around corner from Village Marina on North shore. You say you got the part stolen off your PWC at the dock?
