    It looks they are selling through hull seal assemblies now too. They also have a rebuild kit for them. All we need is for them to make some cdis and we will be good to go

    Would it have been so hard for SBT to actually provide some specifications for their 15-301 part?

    Polaris 4010302 is the LR-31-2 which I think is the most recent iteration of the venerable LR voltage regulator for carburetor engines. The part numbers are molded into the narrow end of the case.

    There is the very similar 4010387 which is also marked as LR31-2 (dot matrix engraved on the flat top surface). The Red/Purple and Orange wires on the '387 are longer at 7 inches, compared to under 4 inches for the 4010302 version (going by the inventory I have here).

    I also think the genuine Polaris LR-31-2 and presumably this SBT replacement should work in many models of carburetor Polaris that just need the basic voltage regulator function plus Orange bilge/accessory power feed. If there is no bilge pump that needs the Orange wire, the Orange wire end can be wrapped in electrical tape and zip-tied out of the way.

    So the LR-31-2 (and presumably the SBT 15-301) should be able to replace;
    LR-21 (no Orange wire output)
    LR-23 4060115
    LR-23-1 4060171

    It looks like this part is actually made by JSP (JuShine Performance Parts) as RS-JP-301

    I personally think we should confirm somehow that SBT is infact making domestic CDIs before Chris gives up what he has done and all the hard work. does anyone have an SBT connection that can infact confirm that they are currently working on it?
