Thread: ECU choices??

OK, sounds like there are two RR ECUs to choose from now ... the original and the 'Stock Class Legal' ECU. Or am I confused? What is the difference in price and performance? If you buy an intercooler which ECU would you want for purely recreational fun (not CC racing)?

I might be wrong but the "stock class ECU" has not been released yet. Mark at RaceTech is the guy to speak with. Then there is the racing ECU, and the new EMS to be released.

They are priced the same. If you are not worried about being legal when racing in the "stock class" then definately go with the Racing ECU. More bang for your buck for the same money.

oh, I kinda of missed the question yeah, I would agree with Jerry

Got it, thanks. Just curious now what the differences are between the two ... but sounds like the Racing one is what I want regardless.

the Stock Class ECU keeps the RPM's limited to 8200 and it's not as agressive.
The Racing ECU limits RPM's to 8500

Perfect! That is what I wanted to know! Racing ECU is the one I want.
