How much top end do you gain with these?

most people get up to 1mph maybe a little more but its about $100 and every tenth of a mph counts when you're obsessed with speed

Any more gain with the R&D on the RXP or does it just cause it to porpoise?

Just causes it to porpoise. 2 seems to be the way to go for an rxp if you're going to get a wedge at all. I've got one ready to go for my ski. Like all the other threads say about the wedge, it brings the nose out of the water for a dryer ride, a little more top speed, better jumping capabilities Some RE OPAS blockoffs will reverse any porpoising though.
2.5 has been proven to be too much for most people who tried it.

Only one reason I went with the wedge. It's a dryer ride when I feel like not being soaked. The wedge with the combination of the bow spray deflector solved this issue.
