How much top end do you gain with these?

most people get up to 1mph maybe a little more but its about $100 and every tenth of a mph counts when you're obsessed with speed

Any more gain with the R&D on the RXP or does it just cause it to porpoise?

Just causes it to porpoise. 2° seems to be the way to go for an rxp if you're going to get a wedge at all. I've got one ready to go for my ski. Like all the other threads say about the wedge, it brings the nose out of the water for a dryer ride, a little more top speed, better jumping capabilities Some RE OPAS blockoffs will reverse any porpoising though.
2.5° has been proven to be too much for most people who tried it.

Only one reason I went with the wedge. It's a dryer ride when I feel like not being soaked. The wedge with the combination of the bow spray deflector solved this issue.
