Boging At Low End??
I have a 02 gp1200r. Just installed new impeller 13x19. The engine seems to bog at take off and seems to clear up once moving. Any ideas Would be a big help. Thanks

The bogging you are describing, should have nothing to do with the impeller. Being that the ski is an 02 and has carbs, it is probably time for a carb rebuild. Also, the cat-con may be getting clogged by now, if you still have it installed.
If it is cavitating, instead of bogging, I would say it is because the pump is not sealed properly.

I must be seeing things. I thought your sig said
"I will Never ride anything else But My RXP!!!!!!"""
Did your problem start right when you installed the prop or was it always there? If you increased the leading edge on the prop it will usually slow prop rotation right off the line. If it was always there, it can be fixed with jetworks. Your exhaust has to clear the water out of the waterbox on takeoff which robs power for a second or two. Jetworks doesnt let it fill up while at real low rpms like stock does.

My Xl1200Ltd had a stuck accelerator pump, and it cured a similar problem once I got it working. (It's the square thingy that is located at the top side of the rear carb. You'll see it working when you pull the throttle lever (the plunger should go in and out, if not, it's siezed!).

The ski ran perfect before we installed the impellor, never bogged. This only happened after the impellor install. I think the pitch of the blades is to much at low end,but it gets better once on a plane. Is it possible for resriction in pump bearings to cause this. Im sure its not the carbs, It only bogs in the water.. Any other ideas? Thanks.
