Anyone have a recorded speed for the Sport Cruiser? I want to make a comparison. I finally took mine out last week

I dont have a tach hooked up. RPM sounds low I only got 37. it was 45 degrees out and there wasnt even enough gas to get me back to the dock. Thats with a 750 motor. Either way the ski is a huge turd and handles very strangly.

lol I'll be happy with 40 mph dont need to spin revs like that hopefully. I have a 750 with 650 electronics and exhaust. dual carbs with riva F/A. It probably needs a better exhaust

I did a bit of r&d on my TS 750 swap early this year and found if you just clamp one of those extra cylinder looking battery spacers that everyone has laying around into the exhaust water line, it dries it out "just enough". I also popped open the stock waterbox and made some extra passages and clearanced the lower water passages to help get the water through quicker. Those two mods made a noteable improvement. Pics of the waterbox mods can be seen in my build thread here-->http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=393292

The pipe will make a good improvement over stock. The 650 pipe is restrictive.
I have one if youre interested. LMK.

    A single SBN44 and a head aren't a bad idea either. I think I have a head as well.
